Thanks for all the emails and tweets yesterday commenting on my quest to live without petrol for a week. I borrowed an electric bike from John Heath at www.2wheelelectric.co.uk/
yesterday and cycled the 8 miles into work last night. I was a bit worried about the hills on my route but the electric motor got me to the top of the hill at Bursledon on the A27 with a little help from my own pedal power. I've never managed to do the hill on a pushbike before so it was a pleasant surprise! Coming home in the dark was a bit of an experience so I'm off to invest in a flourescent jacket for this evening's commute.
Last night I chatted with personal development coach Richard Tyler about the issues people have with finding Mr. or Mrs. right, and we had some great calls from listeners stuck in a rut. If you'd like to be on the show with Richard next week drop me a line via andy@wave105.com with your phone number and Richard will call you back on Monday after 10pm.
Tonight on the show Heather's taking a break for a week but My guest at 9pm will be John Hutchings who is a qualified clinical hypnotherapist, and Mike Rosenburg from the band Passenger will be in at 10pm for a chat and hopefully a tune (we played 'Wicked Man's Rest' by the band when it was released a couple of years back)
