Then at 10 it’s a live music session with the band HURTS who are tipped for great things. We’re playing their single ‘ Wonderful life’, and they’ll be performing it live on the show tonight after 10pm.
Manchester duo Hurts will release their debut single ‘Better Than Love’ on 24th May. They are Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson and are currently finishing their debut album in Gothenberg and Manchester.
The upbeat yet dark and dramatic single follows the limited edition vinyl release of Arthur Baker’s remix of their track ‘Wonderful Life’ and two sold out UK shows in Manchester and London. According to Hurts, ‘Better Than Love’ is “dance music for depression”. Remixes come courtesy of Berlin techno duo Tiefschwarz.
Hurts have been announced to play this years NME Radar tour in April/May and are set to close each night of the 13 date tour.
Commencing on April 26th in Glasgow, this will be Hurts first ever full UK tour and will include a date at London’s Koko on 10th May which will be the bands second ever London show.
