Jeremy Clarkson says Nelson Mandela thought the Top Gear presenter was actually an astronaut at a recent meeting. The South African leader mistook Clarkson and his TV sidekicks Richard Hammond and James May for three spacemen he was due to meet later that day. And instead of letting him in on the truth, Clarkson told Mandela the moon was 'rocky and there wasn't much gravity'.
Here's another great case of mistaken identity. The guy being interviewed was just the DRIVER for the real guest! Look at his face when he's introduced :-)
